How it works

  1. 1

    Now, or later this week

"Available Now!" goes live at once, for up to 16 hours. "Plan a Date" is for any day up to this Saturday.

  2. 2

    Say what, and where

Coffee, a drink, a walk, dinner, an activity or a surprise. Add a short note and mark the meeting area on the map: a public place, not your home.

  3. 3

    Choose who to meet

People nearby tap "I'm Interested!" and appear under "Who's Interested". Accept one, and it's a match: you can start chatting and settle the details.

A moment from life

Sunday, 10:20 am. The sun is out and your morning is free.

You post "Available Now!" for 4 hours: a walk, the meeting area at the beach promenade, and a note, "Coffee to go and a walk by the sea?". Within twenty minutes three people are interested. You look at their photos and bios, and accept one. By noon you're walking side by side.

  2. 10:38 am · 3 people interested

What people browsing see

  • The kind of date, when it is, and your note.
  • The meeting area on a map, rounded to about 100 metres.
  • Your photo, age, bio, profile details, and "✓ Recommended" if earned.
  • The first two letters of your name. The full name only after a match.
  • How far away it is.

So pick a public place. Everyone browsing sees the meeting area, which is why it should never be your home.

What to know

Pick a public place

Everyone browsing sees your meeting area on a map, rounded to about 100 metres. The app says it too: choose a public place, not your home. If you post from home, drop the pin on the café rather than tapping "Use My Location".

Two ways to post

"Available Now!" is live straight away, for up to 16 hours. "Plan a Date" can be any day from today to Saturday of this week, and shows to people browsing before it starts.

Who sees your date

People within the distance they chose, 5, 10, 20 or 50 km, whose gender and age preferences and yours match both ways. Anyone you blocked, or who blocked you, doesn't see it.

You decide who it's with

Each person can be interested once per date. You can open their profile, message them, accept or decline. Only your accept makes it a match: they get "IT'S A DATE! 🎉" and you both find it under "Approved Dates".

7 a week, on every plan

Up to 7 dates a week, Sunday to Saturday, now and planned together, cancelled ones included. To cancel, tap ✕ on your date: it comes down with its interests. You need a completed profile with a photo.

Your date, your call

You choose who to meet, where and when. Meet somewhere public, and if you like, start a Safe Date so a guardian you picked knows where you are.

Questions about IT'S A DATE!

Will people see exactly where I'll be?

They see the meeting area on a map, rounded to about 100 metres. That's why it should be a public place, like a café, a park or a bar, and never your home.

Who sees my name?

People browsing see the first two letters of your name, with your photo, age and bio. The person you accept sees your full name once it's a match.

How far away can a date be?

Whoever is browsing chooses: 5, 10, 20 or 50 km, with 20 km as the default. Dates that are live right now come first.

What happens after I tap "I'm Interested!"?

The person who posted it is notified and sees you under "Who's Interested", where they can open your profile or message you. If they accept, it's a match: you get "IT'S A DATE! 🎉" and can start chatting.
