Switch it on
In Settings, open Blind Date Mode, turn on the switch and save.

Browse without photos
On your radar every photo is hidden and each person carries a 🎭 badge. Age, gender, bio, distance, details and voice intro all stay.

Choose by what you hear
Open a profile, play the voice intro, and send "Connect" to the person whose words stayed with you.
Tuesday, 9 pm. You're tired of choosing by photos.
You turn on Blind Date Mode and start the radar. Five people appear, photos blank, each with a 🎭. One bio says "Terrible cook, great at finding places that aren't". You play her voice intro twice, because she laughs halfway through. You tap "Connect" before you know what she looks like.

What still shows, with photos hidden
- The first two letters of their name, their age and gender.
- The distance, rounded to 50 metres.
- Their bio and profile details.
- Their voice intro, ready to play.
- A 🎭 badge on everyone while the mode is on.
Only the photos go. Everything else stays, so the rest of them speaks first.
What to know
It hides photos from you
Blind Date Mode changes what you see. Others still see your photo on the radar, unless they have the mode on too, or you chose "Hide my photo until I share it" when you started your search.
After a match
Photos stay hidden after a match only if you both had Blind Date Mode on when the request was sent. If only one of you did, both photos show once the request is accepted.
"Reveal My Photo"
In a blind match, the chat shows that photos are hidden. When you're ready, tap "Reveal My Photo" and confirm: your photo is posted in the chat and the other person is told.
Each of you decides alone
There's no message count to reach and no step you take together. Each person reveals their own photo, when they choose. Revealing needs an accepted match.
Where photos stay hidden
With the mode on, photos are hidden for you on the radar. In a blind match they also stay hidden in your chats list, on profiles and in messages, until each of you reveals.
Free on every plan
Blind Date Mode costs nothing on any plan. Turn it off in Settings whenever you like.
Questions about Blind Date Mode
Can other people still see my photo?
Yes, on the radar, unless they have Blind Date Mode on too. To hide your own photo, turn on "Hide my photo until I share it" when you start a radar search.
When do we see each other's photos?
If you both had Blind Date Mode on when the request was sent, photos stay hidden after the match, and each of you taps "Reveal My Photo" when ready. Otherwise both photos show when the request is accepted.
Do I have to reveal my photo?
No. It's your choice, and only you can reveal yours. There's no message count to reach first, and the other person decides about their own photo the same way.
Do I still need a photo on my profile?
Yes. The radar needs at least one photo on every profile. Blind Date Mode hides photos, it doesn't replace them.
