Yes! NearbyLove is free to download and use. All core features including Radar, Spark Mode, Voice Dating, and Safe Date are available to all users.

NearbyLove is available for Android (8.0+) and iOS (15.0+) devices.

Location permission is required for Radar and Spark Mode to work. However, your exact location is never shared with other users — we apply a 250m privacy offset. You can also adjust your privacy settings at any time.

Radar lets you discover nearby users in real-time. Choose your search radius (500m to 4km) and duration, then browse profiles of people currently near you. Only users who also have Radar active will appear.

Spark Mode notifies you with a vibration when someone matching your preferences is within your chosen range (50m, 100m, or 200m). You can then send them a Spark (super-like) to show extra interest.

In Blind Date Mode, you can only see a user's age, gender, bio, and distance — no photos. Chat, plan a meetup, and share visual identifiers. Photos are revealed only after both of you confirm the meeting happened.

Voice Dating lets you record a voice intro (up to 30 seconds) that stays active until you replace or delete it. You can browse up to 15 voice intros daily and send voice responses to people you find interesting.

You can create a date session by setting your availability, location, and interests, or browse sessions created by others near you. Express interest, match, and plan your meetup. You can create up to 3 sessions per week.

Safe Date lets you share your real-time location with a trusted guardian during dates. Your guardian can monitor your location on a live map, and you'll receive automatic check-in prompts. There's also an emergency button for immediate silent alerts.

We apply a 250m random offset to your location, so other users never see your exact position. You can optionally reduce this to 100m for closer matching, but the default provides strong privacy protection.

Yes! You can block any user at any time, and they won't be able to contact you or see your profile. You can also report inappropriate behavior, and our team will review the report.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted authentication (JWT tokens), HTTPS-only communication, and secure local storage. We never sell your data to third parties.

Go to your profile settings and select "Delete Account". This will permanently remove all your data including photos, messages, and matches. This action cannot be undone.

Yes! You can update your photos anytime from your profile settings. You can have up to 6 photos, with the first being your main profile photo.

NearbyLove supports 20 languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and more. The app automatically detects your device language.
